Corinna and I were part of the Drive for Change in NH (since canvassing here in Boston would have been futile). Having a true canvassing app on my iPhone, one that could have provided me perhaps with customized scripts for each home, not to mention recording the data collected during canvassing, would have been awesome.

The next election should be really interesting... But I refuse to diminish the great feeling of this victory by thinking about the next too much. :)

You know, your last paragraph is a really interesting one. My biggest concern over the popularity of Obama is that some people are completely delusional and think he can deliver on all his campaign promises and more. While he is a smart and charismatic leader, and he can try...it'll take more than one man and people nationwide in 4 or maybe even 8 years to make all those huge changes.

On a sidenote, I think the turnout is impressive. However, I have my doubts about getting more people to vote since so many people don't give a shit about educating themselves about the issues before going to the polls and just vote according to what they heard from friends/family/church etc. ffs, I was watching the news on the 4th and there was a woman on TV saying that she didn't know whether or not to vote yes on prop 8 because the wording was so confusing but she wanted to vote against gay marriage (eew, I know, what a bitch).
